GUIDED EXHIBITION TOUR

Each year Cappadox’s Contemporary Art Programme displays artwork in different and new locations in the Cappadocia region, reflecting both the many layered histories and possibilities of the landscape, as well as the curatorial vision to embed the festival and its art programme into the local communities and environment. This year, the festival’s contemporary art program will be realized in loving memory of curator Fulya Erdemci, the founder and drafter of Cappadox Contemporary Art Program whom we lost in 2022, and will welcome visitors until June 13th. Under the theme “Changing Skies”, the contemporary art program will be curated by Kevser Güler from a selection from works featured in previous editions. Artists’ interpretations of the cultural and social transformation of the Cappadocia region and of their different forms of perceiving and experiencing this multifaceted geocultural texture, will be revisited through their artworks created between 2015 and 2018.

On the guided tours of the exhibition, you will be able to listen to the stories of the works and their relations to Cappadocia.
