Âme (Live)

German musician, DJ and producer Frank Wiedemann developed his vision of electronic music fusing influences from Detroit, Chicago, New York, Düsseldorf, Berlin and Paris into a unique and soulful style of club music. After playing keyboards in several bands, he started his career as a DJ and producer with the release of the song “Tranespotting” in 2001 as Soul FC, which left a mark in the electronic scene. Only a year later, he joined forces with Kristian Beyer and started the project Âme, which brought him to Jazzanova’s label Sonar Kollektiv. In 2005, the duo went on to found the electronic record label Innervisions together with Dixon. On Innervisions, he released numerous singles and tracks with Âme, such as “Mifune” and “Rej” as well as remixes for Osunlade’s “Envision” and “Howling”. With a list of projects including A Crystal Mess, Schwarzmann, Howling, Masse, he became known as one of the creative names of the electronic music scene. In 2017, Wiedemann founded the music label Bigamo Musik, which was designed to release electronic music and artists that would not necessarily fit his other label Innervisions, but that would appeal to his non-house-musical taste. One key requirement for any release is also the ability to perform the creations live on stage. Alongside his multifaceted musicianship, Frank Wiedemann continues to perform as a solo live musician under his own name or as Âme (Live).

Trikk

Originally from Porto and now based in Berlin, producer and DJ Trikk’s work with Dixon & Âme’s Innervisions label launched him onto the global stage as part of the next generation of underground house music. With his releases since 2011, Trikk has avoided the pressures of social media, giving him the freedom to steer clear of the latest trends and expectations. In his EPs ‘Florista’ and ‘Mundo Ritual’, he experimented with rhythms and percussives, sometimes combining them with synths and sometimes with silence. With 2018’s ‘Vilara’ EP, Trikk shifted his focus from rhythm to crescendoing melody in a pair of synth driven compositions. As an integral part of the label’s lineup, Trikk is also helping to shape the sound of the next wave of artists.
