MERT PEKDURANER "SOLO"

Guitarist and composer Mert Pekduraner started sharing his music with a track he recorded, ‘Kıyı’, for the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale. Following this track, he self-released his debut album ‘Geriye Ne Kaldı?’ in 2021 and created a core audience. A year later, he released his second album ‘Dialogues In The Dark” placing the string quartet partitions under the spotlight as he believed it constitutes an essential feature of his composing. He presents his multifaceted approach towards composition via the call-and-answer parts between the string quartet and fretless guitar or upright bass.
