CASPER CLAUSEN (EFTERKLANG)

Always restless and full of endless creative energy, Casper Clausen, the frontman of illustrious Danish indie rock band Efterklang and its side project Liima, released his solo album in 2021. On his album ‘Better Way”, he showcases a new approach of creativity and musical exploration, beyond the restrictions of formats, genres and collective goals. With compositions influenced by krautrock, avant-pop and progressive rock and Clausen’s bassy vocal refrains, he channels moods and sounds into shimmering experiments. The songs in the album came together through his impressions of the sites of his residency, Lisbon. The story of the album unfolds in eight chapters. It is a celebration of the universe and a call to arms: to dig deeper, reach higher, fall better, stand taller and to find a ‘better way.’ You are invited to this sonic journey led by Casper Clausen, accompanied by Istanbul-based musician TSU! on guitar and Aylin Güngör on visuals at Argos Müze Crystal Stage on May 25th.
