Currently based in Berlin, Ulla is the artist Ulla Straus’ project. Ulla’s sound is composed of oscillations between layered ambient compositions and algorithmic textures of jazz infused electronics. She has released music on labels such as Quiet Time, Experiences Ltd, Mineral Ltd, Motion Ward, Longform Editions, and her most recent record, ‘Foam’, was released in 2022 on 3XL.With her electroacoustic and experimental jazz compositions, Ulla has become one of the most exciting names of ambient avant-garde scenes.
