YAZZ AHMED QUARTET - LA SABOTEUSE

Yazz Ahmed’s musical style which brings together jazz and electronic is at times described as ‘psychedelic Arab jazz’ ever since she made her debut with her first solo album “Finding My Way Home” in 2011. Being selected for the Tomorrow’s Warriors sponsorship to compose a track about courageous and inspiring women in 2015, Yazz has formed a connection between Arab music’s blues tones and her own spiritual nature.

Collaborating with Radiohead, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, ABC, Swing Out Sister, Joan as Police Woman, Tarek Yamani, and Amel Zen throughout the years, Yazz released her latest album “La Saboteuse (Naim)” in 2017, receiving global critical acclaim.

Touring London, New York, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam and İstanbul, Yazz Ahmed is getting ready to meet her audience at this year’s KSKM@Cappadox.

This year, multiple events will be hosted at Capaddox in collaboration with CACC.
